NextLibrary Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of John Paterson as Technical Director. In his new role, John is developing library and archive software focusing on open source software. John is implementing information industry standards, such as OAI and METS, to integrate legacy data into modern systems.
John grew up in Thunder Bay and graduated from Fort William Collegiate Institute. He then attended Lakehead University for a year and transferred to Wilfrid Laurier University after 1 year. John is a 23 year old student currently attending WIlfrid Laurier University in Waterloo Ontario. He is completing his Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and will graduate in the spring of 2006.
